Most fire blankets certified to the Australian Standard are rated for temperatures of 500-550°C and while useful for small-scale fires they are not intended for use fighting intense fires. Lithium Ion battery fires can burn at much higher temperatures – well above 500°C and the nature of Lithium Ion battery fires is generally considered to be intense. Whilst not certified under Australian Standards and not intended to replace the requirement of certified fire blankets, these products are designed and certified under EN13501-1 to withstand service temperatures between 1100-1450°C and may be an effective tool to help contain and suppress an intense fire such as one involving a Lithium Ion battery. Suitable for items such as portable electronic equipment, gardening and power tools, electric bikes (E-Bikes) and electric scooters (E-Scooters). For electric vehicles use FBLIC6080 6m x 8m blanket. Dividing Breeches are used to split the supply from one fire hose into two separate fire hoses. Alloy dividing breeches are lighter weight making them portable and more suited to general fire fighting applications. This divider is ideal for splitting one 38mm hose assembly into two separate 38mm attack hoses. Can also be used in conjunction with Storz reducers to split into 2 x 25mm hose assemblies. |

This is a premium 20L foam Drum cover designed for exterior use using premium UV Resistant and Fire Retardant materials. Designed to protect foam drums from accelerated weathering when positioned outdoors or protection from dirt and contaminants indoors. This cover fits all common standard 20L & some 25L foam drums and comes supplied with a removal handle on top and velcro closure for attachment to post to prevent accidental loss in windy conditions. |
